Sales territory and regional planning with area-level signals.

Balance sales territories and regional budgets using comparable postal-code and regional potential, with the top drivers explained for every area.

The question

Are our sales territories and regional budgets balanced against real area potential?

Territory and regional planning works best when every region is measured on the same scale. AreaSignal scores postal codes and regions with consistent area-level signals and rolls them up to your territory structure, so sales and marketing leaders can see where potential is concentrated.

What you get

  • Area-level scores with index, percentile, and rank
  • Territory roll-ups weighted by population
  • The top drivers behind each area and territory

Typical uses

Rebalance field sales territories, set regional marketing budgets, compare dealer or branch areas, or prepare the annual planning cycle with one shared view of area potential.

How it works

From brief to area-level output in three steps.

  1. Share your territory structure

Send your current territories as lists of postal codes or regions, plus the objective the plan should support.

  2. AreaSignal scores and rolls up

Each area is scored with area-level signals and then rolled up to your territories, so you can compare potential and coverage.

  3. Rebalance with clear reasons

You receive area-level and territory-level tables that show where potential is concentrated and where territories are over- or under-weighted.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you redraw our territories?

No. AreaSignal provides the area-level scores and roll-ups. Your team decides how to adjust territories and budgets.

Can we use our own territory IDs?

Yes. Send territories as lists of postal codes or regions with your own IDs, and the output keeps those IDs so it joins back to your planning tables.

Can we compare territories of different sizes?

Yes. Territory roll-ups are weighted by population, so large and small territories can be compared on the same scale.

Does this use CRM or customer data?

No. Territory potential is built from area-level data only. You can compare it with your own sales results on your side.
