Privacy approach

No IDs. No device graphs. No individual tracking.

AreaSignal is designed around aggregate, area-level intelligence. Scores describe postal codes and regions, not individuals, and the product does not need personal identifiers to work.

Privacy posture

Relevant geo-targeting without tracking people.

AreaSignal uses aggregated information about postal codes and regions. It does not use personal profiles, advertising IDs, cookies, hashed emails, household profiles, or individual location histories. Every score describes a geography, not a person.

How it works

Privacy rules built into every audience package.

Area-level only

Every score describes a postal code, region, or grid cell. AreaSignal does not build or use profiles of people, devices, or households.

No scores for very small areas

Areas with too few residents are not scored, so no audience can describe a small group of people.

Sensitive-category guardrails

Audiences are not built for health, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, union membership, criminal status, financial distress, or minors.

Human review before activation

Audience packages are reviewed by a person before they are released for activation.

Transparent scoring

Every area comes with the top drivers behind its score, so planners can see why it was selected.

What AreaSignal does not use

  • Mobile advertising IDs
  • Cookies
  • Hashed emails
  • UID2 or ID5
  • Household IDs
  • Device graphs or individual location histories
