Insights · Campaign analysis

Regional campaign analysis with privacy-safe area context.

Compare campaign results summarised by region or postal code with area-level signals, to see where performance and audience fit line up and where they diverge.

The question

Where did our campaign perform better or worse than its area-level fit would suggest?

After a campaign, planners want to know where it worked and why. AreaSignal compares results that are already summarised by area with the area-level fit of the audience, so you can see which regions performed above or below expectation without touching user-level data.

What you get

  • A fit index for every area
  • Your area-summarised results indexed on the same scale
  • Areas marked as performing above, below, or in line with fit

Typical uses

Shift budget between regions for the next flight, explain regional performance to stakeholders, or refine a custom geo audience based on where the campaign over- or under-delivered.

How it works

From brief to area-level output in three steps.

  1. Share results by area

Send campaign results already summarised by region or postal code, such as impressions, clicks, or conversions per area. No user-level logs are needed or accepted.

  2. AreaSignal adds area context

Each area gets its audience-fit index. Areas with too few results or residents are left out of the comparison.

  3. Read the gaps

You receive a table that compares result index with fit index per area, so planners can see where to shift budget in the next flight.

FAQ

Common questions.

What data do we need to share?

Campaign results summarised by region or postal code, such as impressions, clicks, or conversions per area. Please do not send user-level logs, device IDs, or cookie data; AreaSignal does not accept them.

Why are some areas not compared?

Areas with too few campaign results or residents are left out, because the comparison would not be meaningful and could describe a small group of people.

Is this attribution?

No. It is a descriptive comparison of area-level results with area-level fit. It helps planners decide where to adjust geo budgets, but it does not attribute outcomes to individuals.

Can the next flight use the findings?

Yes. The same areas can be turned into an updated geo audience for activation through AreaSignal Activate.
